The guy who mows my lawn has a problem with hostas whose leaves hang over onto his grass!
The corner is especially vulnerable to his mower so after years of ragged hosta leaves there I decided to replace one hosta with a container of hostas! Yep, it works great! The hosta leaves don't hang over in the way of the mower man!
And, it's a bit more interesting, three kinds of hostas and ferns are a bit more interesting than one hosta!
