What's blooming in the neighborhood?

Yep, my neighbor at the lake, Bill and Phyl, are enjoying their huge plantings of tulips as they begin to bloom!  So glad we are next door and we get to enjoy looking at them right outside our kitchen window!  Bill purchases them on sale each fall to add to their collection!

You often have to look down to find the spring blossoms!  They are usually low to the ground.

I think these are 'windflowers'.  Not very tall but as perky as daisies!

I so look forward to these little blue lights blooming.  They have multiplied so well for me and I love them!  Have a few that have crept into the grass and that's OK with me!

A flashy spot of  yellow is lighting up the neighborhood across the street!

Last update on Gus!

My AZ snowbirds have all left to go back home so this is the last batch of pictures of our famous "Gus"!

He is opening up but not fully there yet.  We'll check back in November to see what is going on with him then!

Spring color is brightening up the neighborhood for sure!  These always bring a smile to my face!
