It's easy to take a picture to share with you. I just wish I could capture the fragrance to share with you also! It is my favorite time in AZ, the air is filled with the heavenly fragrance of orange blossoms! As we leave this beautiful sunshine state and head home for God's Country, Minnesota, we leave behind this lovely fragrance in the air!
Sharing with you, over the garden gate, my own gardening projects, gardens of interest I have visited, gardens of friends, miniature/fairy gardening, gardening tips, and other related gardening happenings.

Zeriscape Garden continued
The Scottsdale Xeriscape Garden at Chaparral Park provides an educational resource where growing regionally appropriate plants also grows public awareness to reduce outdoor water use, fosters development of sustainable landscaping and enlists community participation to conserve water resources for the future.
This type of garden uses plants, sculpture and hardscape using area rocks to provide a beautiful landscape to stroll through.

Zeriscape Garden
We went exploring Scottsdale recently and found this unusual public garden. It is a Zeriscape Garden designed with plants that will thrive in areas that do not have much moisture but lots of heat and sun most of the year. There were areas that were in a somewhat dormant state due to the season but also areas that were very attractive, such as this view along the walkways.

AZ Beautiful!
Found this beauty in a entrance to a dog park in Scottsdale recently! No label to identify it but we sure couldn't resist a few pictures. It was a large shrub and was covered in these blossoms, which were about the size of my closed fist!

Poppies! |
Nice we had enough moisture to get an abundant bloom of desert flowers this year to provide some good memories of these lovely patches of color!

Sunshine!
Just a bit of sunshine from AZ. Just couldn't resist sharing this sight I found yesterday in the neighborhood! There were three front yards that were covered!
